We're not Apple

Store Pickup Alert is an independent service. It isn't made, endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc. We use Apple's product names and pictures only so you can tell which iPhone you're choosing. iPhone and Apple Store are Apple's trademarks.

What you're paying for

We check Apple's online store for in-store pickup availability of the exact iPhone you pick, at the Apple Stores you pick, and tell you when it shows up. That's all. We don't sell phones, reserve them or hold them for you, and we can't promise one will still be there by the time you open Apple's site. Stock often lasts only minutes.

We don't watch walk-in stock, carrier or third-party shops, or online delivery dates.

Plans, renewal and refunds

Plans are monthly: Starter $5 for 2 alerts at a time, Plus $10 for up to 5, Max $20 for up to 10. There's no free trial. Your plan renews each month until you cancel. You can change plan or cancel anytime from your account; after cancelling, alerts keep running to the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part-months. If something on our side kept your alerts from working, write to us and we'll put it right.

Alerts and emails

We alert you by browser notification on the devices where you turned them on, and by email. Turn notifications off in your browser settings and pause alerts in your account anytime. Besides alerts, we email you sign-in links and receipts. Any other email is rare, and you can unsubscribe from it.

Fair use

One account per person. Alerts are for buying a phone for yourself, not for reselling alerts or running bulk purchases. We may suspend accounts that do.

No warranty

We work hard to be fast and right, but the service comes as it is: Apple's site can be slow or change, and alerts can be late or missed. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last month.

What we collect

Your email; the push address your browser gives us when you allow notifications; the country, ZIP or postcode and stores you choose; the iPhones you track and the alerts we've sent you; and your Stripe customer id. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us.

How we use it

Only to run your alerts, your account and your subscription. We don't sell it and we don't use it for ads. We may publish anonymous totals, such as how many restocks a store had.

Who else handles it

Stripe (payments), your browser's push service from Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft (notifications), Resend (email), and our hosting provider (servers and database).

Your rights and deleting your data

Email alerts@storepickupalert.com to see, correct or delete your data, or to object to how we use it. To leave entirely, cancel your plan and ask us to delete your account: we remove your email, devices, postcodes and alert history within 30 days. Billing records Stripe must keep by law stay with Stripe. If you're in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
